Hi Connie, It could be that something has shocked her badly, anesthetics, something that was said while she was "under'. The poison of the drugs etc etc. so her spirit has left. You, and we, could send her a strong thought for her to call her spirit back.
You do it your way :-) I do this: quick, think of the person, think of a colour, bring that down into my chest for a moment, then 'send the thought' from my solar plexus area. If it seems to need doing again then do so. I sometimes get two-tone colours or stripes or a swirling mix of rainbow. What i just got now is a smooth, silk white for your friend. I think in my head, breath in the colour into my chest, and breath out to the person.
