I just checked and my big toes also have grey nail beds, not nearly as
dark or noticeable as my fingernails, just mild but definitely there,
those are my only toes affected.
So Marshall, do you believe my grey face was just a surface chemical
reaction between the topical vit C and topical CS? Sunlight probably
didn't darken/worsen it? Because it took a while to fade after I stopped
the vit C products, I had thought it must have penetrated at least a
little way below the skin surface, but maybe the time it took to go away
was just the time it takes for all the affected surface cells to slough off?
What do you think?
thanks,
sol

As far as the toenails are concerned, my big toe and long toe show
blue moons, but my 3 smallest ones don't that I can see. But I am
getting too old to be able to pull my foot up in front of my face like
when I was young. I am not sure what you are saying about sunlight,
that has absolutely nothing to do with silver accumulation in the nail
and bed, that only applies to the skin as I have explained several
times before.
