Have you considered an Oriental Herbalist. There are anti-fungals in that arsenal of approaches that few are aware of. I studied herbs but it is not my area of expertise. You would need to find a really good Herbalist who knew what they are doing since you are working with the condition plus medications. You might want to contact the offices of Jake Paul Fratkin, OMD (Colorado, I think). He has lectured on Candida overgrowth so it might be a good place to start.
In the meantime I would recommend you cut out all simple sugars and refined foods as they are food for fungus. Good luck. I checked out the link you forwarded, but did not find it very helpful as it concentrated mainly on vaginitis and thrush and yeast infection during pregnancy. Those are not the problems I'm dealing with. Because I am dealing with inhalants to treat my COPD, the infection centers around my vocal cords, esophagus, and the like, eventually causing me severe laryngitis. It starts out with a horrible taste in my mouth and I know that it's time to take the fluconazole, which is losing it effectiveness. There may not be an answer to my problem as long as I'm using these inhalant meds, but was hoping someone would know if using silver on a daily basis would at least keep it at bay. So, if anyone has experience with it's use, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Hope it helps. Interestingly enough one of the symptoms for systemic yeast infection is COPD. http://39yeastinfection.com/ Sandy --- On Tue, 7/5/11, Judy Harnett <benjipi...@gmail.com> wrote: Any information, advice and suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
