Hi Lola!  People that I know who have tried DE for worming haven't had good
luck
with it.  Their horses ended up with heavy worm loads.  Also, some people whose
opinions I respect, have raised the question of damage to the intestines from
the abrasive quality of DE -- horses have miles of intestines with manure
moving
through very slowly.  So that is something that I'm reluctant to try.  Have you
tried it with your daughter's horse(s)?

Mary.. have you thought about using diatomaceous earth.. food grade?
It is supposed to take care of most parasites.  The website where I
purchase DE, www.earthworks.com has a lot of info regarding dosing of
pets/animals if memory serves me right.    Lola
