FM is discussed in this forum every couple of years. My wife has it and

in pain most of the time.
Do any of you know of any modern breakthroughs in ways to cure it or at
least slow its progression? It seems most discussions of FM are for ways

reduce the effects (e.g. mask the pain, various stretching exercises, diet
restrictions), but very little is said about actually curing it or
preventing it in the first place. CS/EIS doesn't seem to help (included
to
keep on topic!).
