I have not had experience with that combination, but some research has
turned up the following supposed facts:
If you mix borax with polyvinyl alcohol, you get slime
Borax does not dissolve in pure or near pure propanol, ethyl or methyl
alcohol
A mixture of borax and 50/50 alcohol and water was used in the old days
for sweaty feet.

Try the vodka (dilute with distilled water) and see what it does for
the pain, then try the cs, then Borax. Unless Marshall says otherwise.
