Agreed not good idea to use plated needles, I don't remember where, but out at 
the space center there were solid silver (hardened) needles for use with some 
long term applications. I will have to see if I can locate them.

I have not found any pure silver needles and I would not use plated needles 
with electricity... but that is just my position.

Use silver electrodes/needles to avoid metal, except for the silver and in 
small amounts not toxic like other metals.

Hi Lois,
There are many kinds of electrical stimulators used in Acupuncture.  Some get 
connected to needles and some do not.  Some use mille current and some use 
microcurrent.  I don't like connecting current to needles as I have seen 
pictures of how needles degrade when current is run through them.  In my mind 
that is doing more harm than good since that metal is now in the body as a 
toxin.

PT, my son does acupuncture & he uses an 
electrical stimulator at times. Did you use this when You practiced ??? I never 
did ask him what it was for..
