It isn't that bad, Pat. I lost not only my wisdom tooth on one side, but I also lost three others next to that wisdom tooth.. No one has commented; I am still making new friends; I totally ignore it, and no one has asked me about it.
In fact, I am glad for this reminder because I used to be so self-conscious for much of my life. Somewhere along the way, I lost that self-consciousness, maybe because I am so busy finding things I can do for others. It is amazing how unimportant a tooth is compared to all the good you do and all the love you share.
