I got shingles from my chiropractor.  He cracked the bones under my jaw, a few
days later I was so sick i went back to him .  He advised me to go to the
hospital immediately  because he stated that he "let lose the shingle virus
into my system".  I did go to the hospital and it was shingles.  It traveled
from my jaw to just under my eye I felt like little pac men eating me alive.
My husband went on the internet and found c/s, healed it immediately but I had
to continue taking it for 6 months.
Once in a while it comes back when my system is under stress, than c/s to the
rescue.
Point being I have spoken to many people who have shingles and I would say
about 1/2 of them are going to a chiropractor, they are getting shingles at the
very site  the Dr. is trying to heal.  No, I have never had chicken pox.

Might go under
the general label of :"stress"? -- which I've read is likely to a trigger
shingles attack.

Hmmmm...I gotta be a bit careful here <g>, without going into
detail there has been some ongoing issues and a few breakdowns over many years
so other than that I really haven't a clue?  I believe the aforesaid
history would discount allergies of any kind.
