Hi Mike D.
Funny , you should mention Kundalini!
Before I was diagnosed with Lyme disease, I sought many different healing
modalities, for body and spirit, and stumbled upon Gendlin's book and tape
'Focusing'. I'd done yoga, and meditation for years, so was familiar with
Kundalini bursts of energy, but didn't expect the sudden jolt which almost gave
me whiplash while I was in my casual sitting position. Obviously, I hadn't
approached this technique with proper deference. It was startling,
electrifying, and a real eye-opener! After that, I arranged myself in a safe
fetal position, to soften the effect. Sometimes, as a recovering Lymie, I
simply look at my many weird experiences with a calm, neutral attitude; neither
encouraging or discouraging, but inquiring what the body may be trying to tell
me. It seems grateful when I take this approach and has taught me a lot of
personally helpful things.

I hope this New Year empowers all of us in our search for health and peace.
Be well,
Léna
