The generators will sometimes not shut off on the HIGH setting because the water will not accept any more ions and it keeps turning them into colloids which are not conductive. Just turn the dial down until it shuts off and that’s the maximum setting for the water you’re using. Usually around 2-3 O:clock will be about right. I hope this helps you.
