To me it’s fraud. It has nothing to do with MMS but speaks to his character. Ergo my distrust of him personally.

It is done to ward off attacks by the State, because laws protect " practice of religion". Therefore, stating what you believe carries much weight, and the State is required to "leave you alone", in most cases, for practicing your "religion".
