Hi Kay, Yes, you can take CS daily. I always recommend eating yogurt, kefir, and/or fermented foods each day, to help keep a good balance of the beneficial bacteria. This is very important for gut health, even if you do not consume CS.
Many people have used CS to help heal the gut, and I have never had problems with CS personally. I used to be lazy about eating the foods mentioned above, but even then I had no problems with CS. CS does target all pathogens; however, some of the good bacteria in our bodies might be avoiding CS due to the nature of our symbiotic relationship with them. This issue is something that is still not fully understood. In fact, by definition, the good bacteria is not a 'pathogen' per say. We know that CS stops all known bacteria, viruses, and fungi; however, we also know that no amount of CS is harmful to us. At worst, some people have experienced diarrhea. And again, a healthy diet consisting of probiotics mentioned above will prevent even that. Another approach that is highly recommended - do not swallow the CS. Swish it around in your mouth for a few minutes, and then spit it out. I do both, as keeping it in your mouth definitely enhances the impact of CS by getting it directly into your bloodstream faster.
