If you can afford it, I think the Silver Puppy would be best; get a battery adapter for little cost providing you have a suitable DC source. Depending on length and gauge, silver rods for the one you linked to could be expensive. The Puppy is limited to 12 gauge per web page. I have not seen a bad review for the pup.
