Does St Johns Wort work the same way that SSRI'S do is my question...is it
dangerous to take it because it raises serotonin?

yes - be wary of St. John's Wort. I took St John's and 5HTP at same time and
ended up in ER with Afib. Bad reaction and if you google drug interactions
with St. John's Wort you will see lots of heart stuff. Be careful. Pat
