Hi Steve;

I am a retire EE from the Univ of Ill, class of 47. If you check the
archives you will find a wealth of data that I have put there.

I have taken the making of CS as a hobby for the last 20 mohts and have
spent about $2,000.00 on equipment, supplies, and tests.

I have over 200 plots of data for various protocols from 12 vdc to 380
vdc and 240 ac to 12 kv. Do not let anyone tell you that you can mesure
the amount of silver in ppm with an electrical probe. They just measure
conductivity . It takes a spectrophotometer, or an ISE probe, or an AA
machine.

I have spectrophotometer and have made over 370 ppm tests in the past
months.

There is a great debate as to which is best; constant current or
constant voltage. My preference is constant voltage.

The criterion for the best CS is a very weak T.E. at about 10 to 15
ppm.

This is not a "simple chemical operation."

I will be glad to answer as many questions as I can to help get yu
started.

You do not need bicarb with 26v or greater. It just takes more time.

"Ole Bob"
