The thing they are referring to is the Les Adam /
Eikie Mueller helicopter . They are just down the road from me in Ash
Flat Ark. It is really a neat thing . It is a small one man thing with
a tripod structure . The tip of the tripod has a spherical bearing that
carries a two blade rotor . At the end of each rotor tip is a tube of
about 3 " x 12 " long these have a threaded nose cone and inside a
screen that acts as a catalyst . Behind that is a venturi chamber to an
outlet cone .
They do not burn water ,That sounds like Dennis Lee. they burn
85 % H2O2. However it is not burning in the strict sense . The catalyst
must separate the H & O into its two parts and then they ignite in a
chemical reaction the exhaust is water vapour just like steam. It is
really quite impressive. Kind of like star trek stuff. . They will
demonstrate it ,I believe in early September at their annual Meeting of
the Minds symposium . Many of the top experimenters will be there . It
is a three day deal and always fascinating Many really far out things in
the realm of physics and other fields . and many other fascinating
speakers. Every one is invited but you must register and pay a entry
fee as always . they serve lunch and there are always set up things
that take a lot of time.
