I have a white laminate countertop that is constantly being dripped on
during CS generation & use. I have finally learned to use an old towel to
protect it, but the way I got the silver oxidation out of the minute pores
of the laminate was to make a paste of baking soda & water & work it in good
with my fingers. Feels a little like Comet cleanser for a bit, but is not
abrasive. I don't know how effective it would be for wood butcherblock, but
it's worth a shot. Works every time on mine.

Subject: CS>Argyria on the counter top
Hi, Listers,
I spilled a little CS on my butcher block countertop and now I have a
blue-gray spot. Bleach won't remove it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
