Dear Roger, Well, the nugget was melted down, so if it had any coating, it
should now be gone. I`ll try the sulphur experiment...
 I hope there wasn`t anything on the wires, that is what I`m selling to
folks to make their CS with!

PS, QVC was selling some jewelry of higher-than-sterling silver, and they
claimed it wouldn`t tarnish. Hmmm.
