Thinking on it last night. In my immediate and specific instance, the
concentration of silver is not of great import since I'm 'downing' several
8 oz tumblerfuls a day anyhow. (Using a Beck's unit for something
resembling Lyme and am supposed to drink copious amounts of water...so
that's OK for me.) But I wouldn't want to misdirect anyone; there's enough
confusion already. My batches are heated to near boiling, and maintained
at about 70 to 80 degrees C with a 60 watt two inch diameter 'hot-plate'
directly under the jar and below the electrodes. This effectively will
'stir' the product by convectiom current, also that's how I maintain the
heat. I have to find out if these HV transformers come with a choice of
'square' wave or 'sine' wave, too. There are so many factors. One could
put a very-low-voltage set of silver electrodes in a target-path between
the HV, and switching, I guess... but that is too complicated...How about
using the SAME electrodes and putting suitable unidirectional resistors on
the low-voltage DC lines so they can allow the DC to flow only when the
sine drops below the DC rating. I think someone must have tried this
?????? It sounds too simple. Straight HVAC takes too long anyhow!!! Come
to think on it...... hmmmm....isnt house-current a full sine wave????? I've
tried it by itself....(it hardly works at all) but what of combining it
with low voltage DC with the suitable unidirectional resistors???? The 110
volts at 90% time and 9volts at 10% time might make something!!! Heck, I
don't remember what those resistors are called!! Thanx again....DelAt
