WRT the nebulizer...I'm not sure how those are made, but the room mister-spinner-type I used was very good at killing bronchitis and bronchial infections when the CS mist was breathed deeply from right over the mist outlet.
The 3-month infection that was going around the last 2 winters was killed in 1.5 days on average by breathing the mist directly. As much as you can breathe in five minutes, three or four times a day.
