Hi Erika; Don't bother to filter. Just let the CS sit for an hour or so and the patricles will settle out. Then pour off carefully the clean part.
If you should opt to use the blender (I would not) be sure that it is rinsed several times with very hot water and any soap or detergent residue will turn the CS yellow. A dish washer is not a substitue for several rinses with hot water. How do you know when to turn off the electricity on your CS gen??
