CS works well on people also.  As far as testing goes the more expensive Hanna
meter is reportedly the best. However there is one problem with any type of
conductvity measuring device and that what the Hanna meters are ever though the
put fancy names on them. The conductivity of CS changes with time, what might
measure 50 uS at the end of a run will measure maybe 45 uS twelve hours later
and 40 uS twenty four hours later even though the true ppm has not changed.

So some serious record keeping would be required, and after the CS has stablized
then have a ppm check made with a spectrophotometer.  I make CS with constant
voltage, constant current, and HVAC ARc and they ALL change.
