IMHO, calcium in milk is not an absorbably form. It is called a coarse calcium which very little is absorbed by the body. Whereas say calcium from carrots, green vegetables is what is called, I think, fine calcium and most if not all is absorbable. Milk is not -- contrary to dairymen's teachings -not a good source of calcium > > 2. I hear there is a soy yogurt, but haven't tried it. and 1/2 box of tofu replaces one egg. Or you can use flax in some recipes for egg. You boil it, I believe, and use the gelatinous liquid. I have a recipe somewhere if you want it. Haven't used dairy or eggs for years and doing just great. My favorite ice cream of tofutti. delicious by me tastebuds :) > > Regards, > Judith. > [A milk avoider...] > -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
