Hi Suzy' Remember the "goiter belts" because of a lack of iodine in the soil? It wasn't solved until iodine was added to salt..Iowa is a corn growing state and corn really depletes the soil. Especially when not grown organically. Have you tested for mineral and/or vitamin deficiencies?. Good luck. Serita
