That comment about mineral deficiency is very valid. Much of the continent is in need of mineral supplementation at ground level, and right on up through the food chain. When I reply to peoples' concerns I assume too much...like they have already checked for dietary deficiencies.
Good call Serita! ciao Duncan ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, November 20, 2000 12:10 PM Subject: Re: CS>(OT) Trouble in Iowa Hi Serita, I do remember the iodine deficiency situation, and would wonder if maybe we have something similar going on again, with other mineral or dietary deficiency. Hopefully, we will be able to get to the bottom of it, and find out what the cause is. Thanks. suzy Hi Suzy' Remember the "goiter belts" because of a lack of iodine in the soil? It wasn't solved until iodine was added to salt..Iowa is a corn growing state and corn really depletes the soil. Especially when not grown organically. Have you tested for mineral and/or vitamin deficiencies?. Good luck. Serita
