About one in ten batches made with a Coyote generator will turn color over time, usually pale violet. I think it has something to do with being stored too cold too soon or an impurity that sets up a crystal formation template.
It almost never happens in the summer.
Rinse out the storage bottle with h2o2 and keep the CS in a warmish place for a few days.

The more chlorine, the pinker (or redder) it will get. You may have used tap
water, or filtered water that did not remove all the chlorine. Several times
we have found this same thing with certain brands of distilled water (that
tells me that it was NOT true distilled water). suzy
I opened a bottle of CS that I had made about 1 month ago and poured it into
a clear glass beaker (why I did that is not important) and it had a very
pale pink color to it. It was clear to very, very pale yellow when I made
it.
Can anyone tell me why this is pink?
