I have had excellent results with cs as well. I just came across the 
advertisement for ViraDerm and wondered about the ingredients. From what I 
have read it is somewhat effective for reducing lesion time but doesn't seem 
to totally knock out outbreaks altogether. It also appears that stannous 
fluoride is an ingredient in some toothpastes, supposedly helps with 
gingivitis and bleeding gums. Cs is by far a better deal. What drives me nuts 
is that because this ViraDerm is approved by the FDA people are going to run 
out and buy it but are unwilling to try cs because it is not approved. But 
I'll have to say that I am glad that it doesn't appear to be harmful when 
used as a topical solution.
