Here I go again with the Silverlon website... On their product comparison site, they say this:

"The silver released from the SilverlonĀ® surface is 100% in the ionic (Ag+1) with no silver released in the metallic nanocrystaline form."

*****************************************************************
Interesting article. At first I though it was going to be a good article,
that was based in fact. However after reading it, it seems apparent that the author has not the foggest idea of the difference between Ag0 and Ag+. All of the mechanisms he gave for silver resistance were specific for Ag+. But then he continued and stated that this resistance is being selected for by uses of
products that are Ag0. Not likely.

Colloidal silver is Ag0, and is generally considered to be much more effective
than Ag+ (compounds of silver). The confusion of the two seems to me to be
rather absurd for a researcher.

Anyway, is appears that none of the mechanisms of resistance he shows would be
a problem for the colloidal part of CS since they are for Ag+ and true
colloidal silver is Ag0.
