Penicillin, tetracycline, aeromycin, and other antibiotics are available for
animals, as you said, proclaimed to not be for "human" consumption, but they
work just the same and at much less cost and as you said without
prescription.  I have to take penicillin before any dental work is done
because of a heart condition...thus, I have bought it in Baja and at my
local feed store...looking forward to trying CS next time I HAVE to see a
dentist.
