Dear Marshall,
As I just said, it was just a blip within an article, not a whole article
and most certainly not with references. I feel very unhappy that I can't
find the article, especially since it's not where I thought it was and where
I thought it should be, under "Preparations."
I agree that it is just an opinion, and I don't take it as gospel, since as
I said, I've been very busy making CS, especially because of Anthrax. Makes
much more sense to err on the side of possibility than to do nothing at all.
I don't think of Dr. Mercola as a regular doctor at all, however. He is
very alternative thinking. I pay NO attention to any mainstream doctor and
I especially pay no attention to the FDA. In fact, whatever the FDA says, I
automatically assume the opposite must be true.
I still don't know where that article is, and I almost wonder if that part
could have been removed? That doesn't seem at all possible, but I know I
read this in the most recent newsletter, and I can't find this reference in
the other articles. I'm hoping Brita can find it; thank God Brita DID read
it, or I would really be wondering about myself!
Getting back to your answer about the nebulizer, you say oxygen isn't
necessary but that it does improve the effectiveness. But how does one
obtain oxygen in that case? Do these nebulizers come with directions? I
really, really want to get one; it's something I've been thinking about for
a long time, but it would be a whole lot better to understand what I was
buying! Are there certain types of nebulizers that are worthless? I
thought I read all the archives on this subject, but now see I've FAR from
done that since when I just did another search, it said there were 508
messages on this subject. Oh good grief.
Thanks, Marshall.
Valerie
But for awhile now I had been wondering about a nebulizer. I've looked
through the archives and there have been recent postings lately, but I
still feel confused. Must a nebulizer ALWAYS be used with oxygen when
using the CS?
No, it is not necessary, but it does improve the effectiveness.
I too had read Dr. Mercola's article saying that CS wouldn't do any good,
which was very discouraging, but I think we want to do everything we
possibly can to at least give ourselves a fighting chance!
Does he cite any studies? Every test I am aware of has shown CS to be very
effective. Without any studies it is only an opinion, or repeating
something given by the phams. Since doctors are always saying that CS
doesn't help anything, and I have first hand experience with it helping many
things, I take anything the medical community says about CS with a grain of
salt.
Marshall
