Judith, Ear surgery is happening frequently now. I know 3 kids that have had this done. As a child, my GP was constantly prescribing amoxicillin for my ear infections and it never helped. I was/am a swimmer which didn't help matters any. My mom finally got smart and took me to an ear, nose, and throat specialist and as you said, he advised I can't drink milk. Quit drinking milk at 13 and haven't had much of a problem since. Then the parasite cleanse made it so I can eat ice cream!!
