Dear Al, Did your doctor explain why you should not use bifidus? Thank you, Janet(a bifidus fan because it has assisted in raising my family's immunity on occasion) ----- Original Message ----- From: Al Riley To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, November 09, 2001 8:09 AM Subject: CS>Intestinal Bacteria and CS
Hello Fellow Silver Searchers, I have just completed a scan for various bacteria in my intestinal system. The Dr. thought I might have Leaky Gut so she ordered a very comprehensive testing. It came back with the results that I don't have Leaky Gut Syndrome, and no candida, but it also said that I have Zero amount of Lactobacillus. She speculated that the colloidal silver killed not only the bad bacteria, but also the good. I have had IBS for about a year and have been experiencing very fast transit times for my food. She also speculated that the CS would NOT have been a problem if the transit times of my digestive process had not been so fast. IE: the CS is still active by the time it gets to my intestines so it kills everything. She recommended adding a large amount of fiber to slow the transit times. She also said to take a probiotic with lactobacillus in it, but no bifidus bacteria. Can anyone recommend a good probiotic???? I have heard so many stories of high priced probiotics that are basically dead, that I though I would turn to the experts. What do you guys use/recommend for a probiotic??? hugs al
