I think the H2O2 works very quickly on the readily available silver
particles as presented by the black coating, then works on the silver
metal via the fissures and crystal imperfections just like the
current, causing an uneven surface on the atomic scale and thus
breaking the light reflection properties and the black colour.

There is some reason to believe that like particles can attract...and
experimental evidence for multi-ion particles.

Pure water has a concentration of about 5 mol, given that six water
molecules are arranged about each silver ion that would have 5/6 =
moles of silver ions. This number of silver ions would have a
concentration of 89.8 grams of silver per litre or 89800 ppm or 89.8
parts per hundred. This is not going to be remotely approached. The
repulsive force will not be able to overcome the forces of attraction.

Silver oxide is normally 2AgO, but hydration does not include the
sharing of electrons. A chemical energy barrier must be overcome for
two substances to combine (unless the reaction is spontaneous, which
silver ions and water do not display). I believe there is an ordering
of silver ions into multi-ion fractal like arrangements (conjecture)
when the concentration reaches certain concentrations (first one being
around 15ppm) which throws out conductivity readings, and causes a
pause in the measured concentration increase when generating past this
mark.

I have generated CS in closed (but vented) containers while bubbling
with argon gas, and perceived little change to that using good quality
distilled water in closed containers.
Multi-ion clusters would probably have a charge greater than 1 but
less than the number of ions in the cluster.

I can keep colourless CS in open containers which remains colourless
until the water has almost completely evaporated.
