Reid, I see no problem with MSP, other than it is of high concentration. The few cases of argyria seen recently are mostly linked to MSP ingestion over a long period of time.
I have made some very strong CS myself, using honey as a starter, and the result was an iridescent gold, and the same in green, both had high turbidity and were quite beautiful. I kept them in clear glass containers on the kitchen for quite some time.
