Kathy,
I had a most positive experience using a nebulizer. First, a little
background: I grew up in a household where my mother chain smoked two to
three packs of cigarettes daily every single day I was there; and as a
result, I got bronchitis every winter, like clockwork. Fourteen years ago, I
moved to an area of New York City very close to an incinerator (it was the
only housing I could afford)--and very shortly thereafter, developed asthma.
(Around that time, the New York Times reported that over HALF of the
schoolchildren in that area [mostly black and Hispanic] developed asthma.
Shows you what the elite think of non-whites. But I digress.)

Nothing I tried afterward--acupuncture, herbs, etc.--got rid of the asthma.
When I'd stop the acupuncture, the asthma always came back. With the
increase of pesticides and other junk in the air, the condition got worse.
After I was losing lots of sleep because I would wake myself up from the
rattling in my chest, I bought a DeVilbiss PulmoAide, which is considered to
be the workhorse of nebulizers. I used Colloidal Silver and a little bit of
lemon essential oil, as much for the pleasure of it as for medicinal
purposes.

After using the nebulizer three times for a maximum of ten minutes each
time, the rattling in my chest disappeared. Occasionally there is a tiny bit
of wheezing, but it is about .05% compared to 100%. Big difference.

I highly recommend it.
