I used the same setup, but had to discontinue the stone because it bubbled
violently enough to severely wet the bottom of the wood holding the
electrodes. I feared it would "short" across the electrodes. I tried all
different water levels to no avail. I just stick the end of the tube in the
bottom of the gallon pickle jar now. The bubbles are larger and don't go as
high into the air when they break the surface. TJ
