Maxine, an ounce of CS per day doesn't sound like much to me. My wife takes CS for Lyme disease, and she drinks about 20 oz per day. I take it as a general preventive and I still drink 5-10 oz a day, plus rinsing my teeth and gums with CS after brushing.
My dog and cat have straight CS (about 10ppm) in their water bowls. The cat has FIV (feline AIDS) which is why we started giving her CS, but since you can't stop the animals from drinking from each other's bowls, we put it in both. My point is there's no such thing as too much CS, but you might be taking too little if you're taking it for a specific affliction, such as shingles. I built my own generator that makes just under a gallon (3300ml) in about 3 hours, and I make about 4 such batches a week. Perhaps you are taking such a small amount because you're buying it from a health food store at some inflated price. When your husband finishes building your generator, your cost will be pennies per gallon, and you can increase your dosage. Mike Monett's web site will no doubt have much more specific information on CS and shingles, and his email address is posted there so you can contact him if you have questions. Here's his URL again for anyone just tuning in http://www.geocities.com/mrmonett/shingles/0shin.htm You are right about people with chicken pox. Many people expose others to this virus without ever thinking how dangerous it can be. My wife never had chicken pox as a child, and with her Lyme-compromised immune system, getting it now could be fatal for her. I read somewhere that 100 people in the US die each year from chicken pox. Not a large number when compared to cancer, but thatÂ’s no consolation if you happen to be one of those 100 people. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Try FREE Yahoo!
