The toxic dose of silver is about 3.8 g over a relatively short period-I don't remember the exact figures. Search the list archive for "John Hopkins"; you may find the research by a staff PhD. It IS excreted, so it is very difficult to physically consume enough 10 PPM CS or thereabouts to get that much. I think about 50 gallons/day or something like that. .... I haven't done the math in years. The water would cause more distress. You can probably take a lot more than one ounce a day, if you do not develop lower digestive tract symptoms. People with CA have taken quarts per day with some reported success.
Since an enormous number of anecdotal reports exist demonstrating sure control and perhaps elimination of Herpes Simplex there is a high probability that the CS will help your Shingles. Good luck.
