Another thing that I reminded Mike of is that nutritional supplements and herbs CAN interact severely with mainstream medicine, and that it is VERY important to be properly informed of any contraindications. The problem is that the doctors and pharmacy at the hospital don't have any idea what these supplements are...........and the friends that he is getting his supplement info from aren't educated in mainstream medicine and have absolutely no idea about what the medications that he is on, even are. So.............I told him that he needed to really be sure that he was making educated decisions before he gave him any additional supplements.........and he pleaded with me to reach out to all of you.
