This has been my experience also. A newly created batch of LVDC CS (approx 25 PPM total silver) has a quite pronounced metallic taste, which gradually declines over several days. At the same time, TE (Tyndall effect) increases steadily, indicating that a portion of the ionic silver is converting to particulate - ie colloidal - form.
