Brooks, Try the advert aware program Ad-aware 5 www.lavasoftUSA.com It is very easy to get and install and use. The program removed 9 things running quietly in the bacground and gobbling up computer facilities. I now run it once per week. haven't had any more 'finds' but the pc is whizzing along very well.
