Just realized this is a new thread and not about my cat. He was on antibiotics
for about 6 weeks and that is a pretty normal length in this situation. You
should see a vet. Feel between his hind legs (the lower belly) and if it feels
hard and distended ( size of a tennis ball) that means the bladder is getting
too full and there is a blockage. See how much pee comes out when he goes. If
some comes out he's not blocked. If he may be blocked it is a medical emergency
and he can die within 24 hours. Also I was told to get my cat to drink more and
to try giving him chicken broth if necessary just to get the fluids in him.
Give him the urinary health diet immediately. Also pet stores have a cranberry
Vitamin C combo with herbs that I used. I had him on antibiotics at the same
time. Try giving him Vitamin C. A vet told me that. I was surprised. I
wouldn't of thought of that. CS didn't seem to help. Jan
