you answered my questions. I am pretty sloppy about contamination,
as you state, with the jars, etc. But, my cs does the job seemingly.
We stay in good health offsetting an occasional attack. Just this
past week my left eye area started experiencing some pain, very
hard to pin the location down, but the pain was there and very
slowly getting worse. I applied cs to the cheekbone with cotton
and drops in the eyes with only slight relief. Then my wife
commented, "it looks like you are getting a sty under your eye".
Aha, the spot was between the eye itself and the cheekbone, so
the application of cs changed. I soaked the area under the eye
(which was quite tender at this point) for a few days and the
problem went away. So, I guess the point is, there are some
place that are difficult for the constantly ingested cs to
reach and other means of application have to be used.

Hi John,

I agree with Ken that stirring does help.

I did use stirring with a small motor for a while. However, since I have
tried a bubbler, which I still do use, I prefer the bubbler instead of the
small motor
and my CS seems to be better. However, I have to get me CS retested
to ensure that this is correct.

One of the other important item is to keep a low current (controlled
current). I try to never exceed 1mA. I feel that it does help to produce
a clear CS. I have used higher current before and I suspect that one of the
factors that also caused the CS to turn slightly yellow was this high
current.

One of the other factor that does not seem to be emphasized enough is
to keep all CS containers and equipment very clean. I use distilled water to
rinse them
several times prior to use. This is mostly important, otherwise CS can be
contaminated.
