Can't quite tell if you're being serious or not...<gr> Don't know whether Barefoot has infomercials on New Zealand television or not, but I am glad that at least your neighbours have seen the light.
Barefoot's summary of the science makes sense to me however, and I did recently purchase his book on the strength of what I had distilled myself over time. If you look back at the posts I have made to this list the last few years, you will find that I had discovered the importance of systemic pH, the value of vitamin D in immune response, the importance of saturated fat and so on. I became aware of Barefoot sometime after beginning to supply cesium chloride as a cancer supplement of which I discovered he was also an advocate, and was more than happy to realise that we shared quite a few ideas on the progress to ill health, and its remedy. The more I learned of Vit D, the more importance I gave it (and the uv light of sunshine, its precursor). Two Australian studies clinched the case, in my mind, the first, where English immigrants were followed for some years, and where it was found that the incidence of MS increased the further away from the tropics the subjects lived, and another following the incidence of schizophrenia, where the illness was correlated to the amount of sun, and cholecalciferol concentration in the blood. One would do well to heed the word of Bob Barefoot and Carl Reich, indeed hats off to the men... rays of sunshine in a somewhat gloomy world.
