Bob, What I want to know is what you were using for power to take a week to brew? Gosh I used a 7vdc 300mA 8.oz of DW start 1.4 The DW 1 hr 2.2 readings from Hanna 2 hr 2.8 3 hr 5.0 4 hr 6.8 5 hr 10.4 6 hr 12.2in 7 hr 14.1 8 hr 17.8 I was using two 2002 .999 silver eagle dollars 1/2 into the water.
1st Qt glass jar with *wire .9999 12Ga 1" apart in 4" of water 15.0 1A vdc power supply 1Qt D/Water start 1.6 ppm 1 hr 5.0 " 2 hr 8.2 " 3 hr 13.8 " 4 hr 22.1 " done Clear No flakes. 48 hrs later I got a lite gold color.
