I use the simplest of setups with a NST.
sometimes if I forget and let it run a bit to long, I find that the cone of
water had dropped away with arcing ensuing.
Testing the ph shows an acid, I assume nitric.
On a tip from "ole Bob" I now use a CO2 blanket. If arcing occurs, no acidifying
happens. The CS is neutral.
How do you use DC with a transformer?
