Dear Catherine, I agree with what you had to say below 100%. I had a benign tumor on my pituitary which was removed by surgery 17 yrs. ago. For a year or more I took a drug called bromokryptene which worked very well at reducing the tumor. At that time my doctor said I could stay on the drug indefinitely, but I chose surgery, and have had no trouble ever since. My question for you is: Are you saying that you had a tumor on the pituitary before and after 18 years it has re appeared?
Thank You, Linda << A pituitary adenoma that is most likely benign is usually called Cushing's Disease. Were you told that? CS is for pathogens. Many Beck protocols are experimental at best, and some of those familiar with them feel they are of some value, but primitive, so to speak. Your condition is fully cured 80% of the time by surgery done by a skilled surgeon who does this type of surgery regularly. Some people have to take medication for up to one year later until the pituitary begins producing cortisol on its own again.. The good news is, after that, you don't need any drugs. If you allow the condition to persist, the adenoma can increase and eventually make it difficult to remove it without removing part of the pituitary. I'm not a big fan of conventional medicine, but you are talking about the master gland in the body. I am not aware of any effective non-conventional treatment for this. If this existed, I would have found it, for I was diagnosed just recently with the same condition after 18 years of no conventional medical treatment at all. I have little to no use for conventional medicine, but I also know when the time is right to experiment and when it isn't.>> If anyone tells you there is a non-conventional, effective protocol for this I suggest you explore it quite thoroughly before committing to it. There are people out there that will tell you that what they have will cure everything from A-Z. I am well-versed in science, medicine, and alternative/holistic medicine, and believe me, I searched exhaustively for something for myself to avoid the conventional route.
