Maybe I should do some more research before proceeding. I do have
another question though.
I bought 3 bottles of CS from Utopia Silver, then decided to make my own
so I bought some silver rods and a CS tester that was supposed to
measure the PPM. The first thing that I did when the tester arrived
was to measure the PPM of the Utopia CS and it showed 7PPM, their site
said it was 20 PPM. I wrote to them and their response was that home
made CS was more ionic and the tester was callibrated for home made
silver not commercial made. What does this mean and does it sound like
they are simply selling 7 PPM and representing it to be 20 PPM?

I used 30 VAC one time for over a week and got nothing. Unless you have enough
voltage
to pull the ions fairly far from the anode during a half cycle, they get sucked
right
back to it when it is the cathode and redeposited. Typically when using AC,
one uses
about 10,000 volts.
