I should have said gold, I've made it fast and the color is gold, if I
make it extremely slow, the color is clearer. I've tried 15 V ac with
no results, I use a 17 V DC power supply and use resistance to limit the
current to slow the process down.
I take it then that you suggest that I not worry about the gold color
and continue making it by the faster method.

Sounds like CSPRO. His equipment is very good, and it could be argued that the
HVAC method does produce product a slightly superior product than the LVDC
method. The HVAC CS is usually a little more stable. But basically it all
works, and works very well. So unless you are storing it for extended periods
of time, it should be perfectly good.
I would consider gold as getting a little on the large side on particles, either
clear or light yellow with a weak to medium tyndall should be superior. But
gold can still be very good, especially topically.

I'm new at making CS, and have read that it can't be properly made in
such a short time, that you get larger particles and that they aren't as
effective. I've also read that if the CS that is made is yellow in
color that the particles are too large. The article was written by a
fellow that has been studying CS since 1981 and has available very
expensive equipment to test it. He also recommends using alternating
current rather then direct current.
Comments please.

Thanks for the replies. It took about an hour and a half before anything
started to happen but it finally did. Then I let it cook for another 30
minutes. I guess I need to use a different brand if water. Been using
the Walmart brand. Thanks for all the help.
I use the Walmart brand, no problems. I let mine work for 30 minutes, wipe
the wires and give it another 30 minutes. Result, approx. 18 PPM.
Works for me!!
